LST Minute:

During World War II, the Armor Training School in Ft. Knox, KY, constructed buildings as exact mock-ups of an LST. Tank crews in training learned how to maneuver their vehicles onto, in and from an LST with these facilities. One of these buildings has been preserved at Ft. Knox for historic reasons and can still be seen there.
